LCN Camouflage Gel Details Beauty Supply

LCN Camouflage Gels have just been released! A great new tool in your arsenal for obscuring problem nail plates.

These Resins are available in three French colour tones, to suit the different skin tones of your clients. They are quite a thick consistency to allow for easy application and making the most of the opaqueness of the formula. Designed to hide the imperfections that you can come across in your day to day service routine.

Designed to cover and obscure stains, white spots, e-file marks, fill lines and basic discolourations on the nail plate or showing through from the nail bed. You can also use these Resins to extend your clients nail bed, in the case of shortened nail beds, due to biting nails, trauma/injury or plain imperfect nails.

As soon as the jars got into my hot lil'hands I found a reason to try it out on myself. The following is the pictures and steps I used when applying this technique. You may find other ways to use it, in other techniques that you find suitable, (send me pictures -I'd love to see them!).

Bare & Prepped Nail
You can see the red/orange stain at the top and the crack w/discoloration just below the natural smile line.
Applied LCN Base Coat -Cured
Applied a light coat of LCN Camouflage Beige - over entire nail, extending nail bed area-cure.
Had applied a 2nd coat of Camo-Gel, cured and created an very thin free-edge of Formatur-cure.

Removed Form, wiped off dispersion and fast-filed free-edge to shape. Applied a white-edge with LCN French Top -Spark White-cure.
Applied 1 coat of Bondique for strength and shape. Need to wipe and file/buff.

Finished nail and yes, I had to try out the New Miracle Glitter on top! This is the #4 -Multi-Glitter.
Then finished with a
coat of Clear Sealant.

You can also finish with any of the other Sealing options in the LCN line to give different effects. I'm going to be having another pictured demo soon, as Lynda slammed her thumb in a steel door so we'll check-out the Cool Pink Camouflage Gel to mask the huge bruise she now has!
