Shipping and Returns


Local Shipping, (within the Lower Mainland):
Is provided by a local courier or Canpar. We do offer FREE shipping for orders over $200.00.
Orders under $200.00 (total prior to taxes), will incur an $11.95 shipping and handling fee.

Outside the Lower Mainland & throughout Canada:
Is generally provided by Canada Post or Canpar. Actual shipping costs are calculated in real-time through the web site. Over-sized and/or overweight items such as paper bed rolls, wax, and gallons, may incur a surcharge (actual shipping charge will be determined at time of sale.)
The client will then be contacted, for approval, prior to shipment/billing, if the web applied shipping was not sufficient to cover the order. They will be able to authorize the extra surcharge or cancel the order.

We ship most orders within 24-36 hours of order placement. 

As we are a “wholesale-only” distributor we require invoices to total a minimum of $25.

Back Orders

If an item is not in stock we will notify you immediately. We carry an extensive inventory to minimize "back ordered" items. Due to manufacturer shortages, back orders occasionally occur. You can choose to be put on our Item notification list, where once the item arrives you will receive an e-mail letting you know. We never “charge” for an item that is not shipping with an order -  we do not give or process a total amount owing, until we are ready to ship the order.

Returns or Exchanges

In the event you feel the need to return an item, Details must be notified and an exchange will be offered within 10 days of receiving the item. If you do not wish to exchange at that time we offer a full credit on account against a future purchase. If an item is found to be defective within the 10 day period a replacement will be sent out at no charge upon receipt of the original item at our premises. Details has the right to refuse or assign a sliding % re-stocking fee to any return or exchange if the product or packaging is in an unacceptable condition. Contact us through e-mail, in person or phone, to discuss the item & reason for return. A RA# will be given to you – to mark on the exterior packing box. It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the item is returned to our warehouse is good condition. 
We do work on a case-by-case basis on exchanges or returns – if you are unsure, just give as call to discuss.

What you’ll need to return/exchange your item:

The receipt (invoice), original method of payment, all original packaging (this includes all documentation, warranty card, manuals, boxes and packing material) and must be in “As New” condition.

Non Refundable or Exchangeable Items:

Nail lacquers, treatments, light-cured lacquers/gels and “some” cosmetics – as these items do not have a manufacturers seal – we are unable to tell if a product has been opened and/or used.

Shipping fees are non-refundable.

All special order items, are not refundable or exchangeable. 

Damaged Shipments

If you receive a damaged shipment, (box crushed), note this with the delivery driver and refuse the shipment. It will be returned to Details and we will replace it for you at no additional cost. Damaged or miss-shipped products must be reported to Details within 2 days of delivery to be eligible for replacement. All our orders are carefully pulled and packed – we do our utmost to ensure you receive what you ordered, but we are human, mistakes can be made -but be assured that we will do our best to ensure your satisfaction.
